Living Lightly Presents Transition Towns: Use Less, Live More (this Saturday)

Please consider attending: 11/7, Saturday, 8:30-4:00. Michigan Friends Center (Chelsea). Living Lightly presents Transition Towns: Use Less, Live More. Devote a day to learning about better ways to live for ourselves, our communities and our planet. Find out about the positive thinking and vision of the Transition Town movement that is alive and growing in Chelsea, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and other places in the U.S. and beyond. Engage in small-group conversations to share our visions of the possible future.

Select and learn vital skills for pioneering these better ways. Learn with and from your friends, neighbors and other local folk in the spirit of cooperation and sharing--including specific skills for the great transition to our low-energy future. Afternoon workshops include beekeeping, hoop houses, worm composting, insight meditation, acupressure, pickling, solar ovens, and poultry raising.

Conference is free, donations accepted. A delicious lunch of local foods will be available for $10. Presented by Transition Town Chelsea, Michigan Friends Center, and Transition Ann Arbor. To register: call 734-475-1892 or see http://michiganfriendscenter.org/registration.html
